I finished two toddler quilts recently! I am so happy to be back in the saddle! It has been over 3 years since I last made a quilt! (That's horrible! And depressing!)

The first one is a scrappy string quilt, with lots of bright novelty prints. It was foundation-pieced with muslin, which makes it a little heavier weight (not a horrible thing up here!). I usually piece my backs - this one was made using leftover string blocks, and then pieced with a blue and white star material from my stash. In fact, both of these quilts are made entirely from my stash! The second toddler quilt was made using 6 1/2" novelty print squares, and then framed in bright, happy solids. They were freemotion quilted by me using one of the heart pantographs from Urban Elementz.

These cuties are being gifted to someone whom I very much appreciate!
